8C’s for Rubtsov and Albert

Low winter temperatures in Europe haven’t stopped Alexey Rubtsov and Charles Albert from going outside and trying really hard. Both have climbed 8C | V15 boulders in the last days.

In Switzerland, former World Champion Alexey Rubtsov has repeated Dave Graham’s From Dirt Grows the Flower.

Rubtsov followed the original line, ending the problem with the hard mantle rather than doing the left variant (both are more or less equally hard; learn more about the variants here and here).

In Fontainebleau, France, barefoot climber Charles Albert has done his second 8C | V15 first ascent (in December he opened La Révolutionnaire, also in Font), a sit start to Délire Onirique (8A+ | V12).
