Qualifiers | Nanjing Bouldering World Cup 2017

The intense heat marked today’s qualifying round in Nanjing. The female round had to be rescheduled so it would begin after sunset. Lots of tops for men and women. Alannah Yip and Alexey Rubtsov, finalists in Chongqing, are out. Rolands Rugens, Tomoa Narasaki, Shauna Coxsey and Megan Mascarenas are in first place.

Other big names out of semis are: Rustam Gelmanov,  Alban Levier, Jeremy Bonder, Martin Stranik, Jakob Schubert, Dmitry Sharafutdinov, Michael Piccolruaz or Mickael Mawem.

Team Japan keeps going strong with 11 climbers in semis (including Tomoa Narasaki and his brother, Meichi).
