Jernej Kruder repeats Es Pontas!

Jan Hojer reports on Instagram that Jernej Kruder has just done the second ascent of Chris Sharma’s Es Pontas. After about a month of effort the Slovenian star has managed to send what’s probably the hardest psicobloc line to date.

German powerhouse Jan Hojer and Slovenian star Jernej Kruder are in Mallorca, Spain, working on the most famous deep water soloing (AKA psicobloc) line ever: Chris Sharma’s Es Pontas. Opened by Sharma in 2006, the route remains unrepeated and it is considered one of the hardest on the planet.

Hueco Rock Rodeo 2016 – Sendfest in Texas

Adam Ondra, Daniel Woods, Jernej Kruder, Jan Hojer, Jimmy Webb and Alex Megos will face 5 extremely hard problems (~ V12 | 8A+ to ~ V14 | 8B+) in Stockholm’s Klättercentret.

2014 Bouldering World Championships – Semifinals

We’ve had a great semifinal round in Munich. The problems were hard (2 flashes were a direct ticket to finals) but doable, all of them were solved by more than one climber. Two big surprises: Kilian Fischhuber is out and Michaela Tracy is in finals.
